Intelligence experts have warned that Europe is under growing threat from Russia's sabotage operations, which are allegedly aimed at securing concrete military results in Ukraine. Reports say several mystery fires and attacks on infrastructure in many European countries have been linked to Moscow. These include a fire incident in Lithuania, an arson attack in east London, a sabotage attempt in Bavaria in Germany, and antisemitic graffiti in France's capital Paris. Intelligence experts say these could be the early stages of a systematic activation of Russian sleeper cells worldwide. The alleged sabotage attempts by Russia are aimed to paralyse the military campaign of Ukraine, against which Russia launched a full-scale invasion more than two years ago.
