As Israeli tanks have reached the centre of Rafah city in Gaza's south, a social media trend "All Eyes on Rafah" has taken social media platforms by storm. A viral picture with the slogan has been shared close to 30 million times on Instagram. The picture has been especially trending in Western Europe, Australia and India. Indian celebrities, including Priyanka Chopra, Kareena Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, and Varun Dhawan have shared the slogan on their Instagram stories. Some of them even faced backlash for not speaking up against other atrocities. The phrase "All Eyes on Rafah" seemingly stemmed from a comment by Rick Peeperkorn, the director of WHO's office of the occupied Palestinian territories in February and went viral across the world.
