Nitish Kumar and Tejashwi Yadav taking the same flight to Delhi created a lot of buzz on Wednesday as speculations of the possibility of the Bihar chief minister switching sides float around.
Rashtriya Janata Dal’s Tejashwi Yadav, who is part of the INDIA bloc, sat behind Kumar on a flight as both leaders travelled to Delhi for the NDA and INDI alliance meetings.
Janata Dal United’s Nitish Kumar is part of the National Democratic Alliance.
After landing in Delhi, Yadav said, “Have some patience. Wait & watch. We greeted each other. Baaki kya hota hai, aage aage dekhte rahiye."

A number of leaders have already arrived for their respective meetings.
NDA has won 294 out of 543 seats while the opposition bloc has won 234 seats. Telegu Dasam Party’s Chandrababu Naidu and Janata Dal (United)’s Nitish Kumar have emerged as the kingmakers, with the BJP counting on their alliance to form a government for the third time.
In Bihar, out of the 40 Lok Sabha seats, JDU and BJP won an equal number of seats: 12, while the RJD won four and Congress won three.
NDA & INDIA meeting
NDA will hold a meeting at Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s residence at 4 pm. The meeting will be led by the Bharatiya Janata Party, which has bagged 240 seats in the Lok Sabha election.
Among the leaders who are expected to attend the meeting are Kumar, Naidu, LJP’s Pawan Kalyan, etc.
While Naidu has announced his commitment to stay with NDA, Nitish Kumar has not yet made any such comments although one of his party’s spokespersons on June 4 said that JDU has decided to stay allied with BJP.
The Congress-led INDIA will hold a meeting simultaneously in Mallikarjun Kharge’s New Delhi residence at 6 pm.
Sharad Pawar, Supriya Sule, and Abhishek Banerjee, among others, are expected to attend the meeting.
According to News18, sources have said that the top leadership will try to reach out to BJD’s Naveen Patnaik, Nitish Kumar as well as Naidu.
