A luxury real estate billionaire from Ohio, Larry Connor is planning a deep-sea exploration travel with Patrick Lahey, co-founder of Triton Submarines. The Ohio based billionaire has given $20 Million to Triton to make a new submersible vehicle that they Connor and Lahey can use to explore the shipwreck of Titanic in the Northwest Atlantic Ocean. The Private submersible industry was rocked last year after 5 billionaires were killed when trying to explore the Titanic’s shipwreck. The five people were undertaking the journey on Titan, a submersible made by Oceangate when it imploded en-route. Now, Larry Connor is an adventure junkie and is a qualified race car driver and private astronaut.
